Fady Maalouf was born on 20th April 1979 in Zahle, Lebanon. He is the son of a French mother and a German-Lebanese travel agent. Because of the disastrous situation of the Civil War in Lebanon Fady Maalouf grew up in Lebanon and France. The experiences of the war characterize his passion for music because so he found a way to express his feelings and fears.
The horrible experiences of the war give his songs very deep emotions and carry all his fans. During his school days he got lessons in classical song classes. He began his musical career with singing in corals and bars and could achieve a national prominence among the Lebanese by appearances in television and broadcast.
But the charming singer is also well known in Germany. He came to Germany 2006 after the outburst of the Israeli-Lebanese war and started to learn German. He worked as a bartender in a Hamburg coffee shop and took part in the talent show “Germany seeks the next superstar”. He reached the final and won the second place.
The song he was singing at the final show of Germany seeks the next superstar was published and made him a well-known musician in our country. Later on he published his first album in Germany with the title “blessed”, the same title of his single and final-song.
Although Fady Maalouf is known as a singer he studied fashion design I Lebanon and France and worked for several famous labels and designers such as Elie Saab and Robert Abi Nader. Fady created dresses for the Haute Couture. Halle Berry was wearing one of his creations at the Oscar festival in 2002.
This year all his German and European fans can be happy because he will give a Christmas concert in Berlin. There he will perform live with his band and will present his songs. Who wants to see Fady Maalouf live in concert should buy a ticket and come to Berlin. A nice idea for a present.

I was there. It was a ravishing concert of a marvelous voice.
I was one of the lucky ones who attended both Fady's concerts in December. I'm still speechless and overwhelmed by this outstanding artist whose name stands for incomparable beauty and volume of the voice, phenomenal intensity of expression, emotional depth and incredible sensuality.
Two exquisite concerts, uplifting atmosphere, rich repertoire which included Fady's ingenious, self-composed and terrific performed songs, as well as Christmas world classics in absolutely stunning and talented variations.
To watch Fady Maalouf singing on the stage is an enjoyment, and I won't miss his concerts in the future. The most beautiful voice I ever heard!

Fady Maalouf is a diamond on the music heaven, his ability, to reach the deepest depths of emotion ist incomparable, the most beautiful and intensive voice I ever heard in my life. Brilliant artist!
Fady Maalouf and his excellent band GrooveUNIT. showed pure energy, passion and humor together on stage. They have a strong unity although they just played since spring 2009 together. I'm looking forward for his new up-tempo songs "burn" and "fire" which also will be on his upcoming album :-)!
